The Patient Care Technician performs direct patient care assistance as well as clerical and administrative duties in support of patient care providers, medical staff, patients, their significant others, blended and extended family members, and outside agencies.
Obtain vital signs, height, weight and I&O
Assist patients with activities of daily living
Provide skin care (stage I & II)
Document patient data accurately and completely
Effective communication skills
Self-motivated, independent, organized and able to prioritize work
Licensure / Certification: Nonviolent Crisis Intervention certification required. (May be obtained during orientation)
